Colorado School of Dance - Performance Events

The Nutcracker Ballet
Together, Search Parker Magazine, Storquest, The Hampton Inn and the Colorado School of Dance presented Parker's 4th annual Nutcracker Ballet in December 2007.

The Annual Student Production
Colorado School of Dance students present an annual spring dance/theatre production each year. The 2004 show included the "classical ballet" Coppelia. Other shows include "That's Dancing!" "42nd Street" "Dance Bold, Dance Beautiful" and "Lullaby Land."

Trips, Competitions, Community Events
Upcoming dance trips and performances include the 2004 New Year's Trip to Disney World/Universal Studios, and the 2005 trip to Macy's Day Parade in New York. Competitions and local events also are part of many of the performing companies.

Colorado Youth Ballet Company
Colorado Youth Ballet company presents the annual Nutcracker of Parker and a Spring Ballet every other year (Coppelia (2004), Wizard of Oz (2006), and The Snow Queen for 2008)

Gold Medal Poms Team
A competitive, touring dance team consisting of jazz, hip hop and poms choreography. The group works as a team throughout the year, and has the opportunities to travel and do local events (Disney World, Macy's Parade, and local events including Denver's Parade of Lights, and Elitch's Spirit Day). The Majestics
This is a Non-Denominational Christian Lyrical Dance Class where students learn choreography to Christian music, and have many opportunities to perform at local and regional churches throughout the year. Students are recommended to take at least one ballet class outside of this program to ensure proper technique, however there are no pre-requisites for the Beginning Class. Even better, the owner fully sponsers this class, as these ministry classes run tuition-free, given the individual student is dedicated to attendence. (Annual Registration Fee and Costume Fees are not discounted)

The Razzle Dazzles
The Razzle Dazzle Troupe is an accelerated dance program, and performing group divided into two age categories: Ages 6-8, and Ages 9-11. Children take technique and rehearsal classes twice each week. Classes include ballet, tap, jazz and hip hop. The group will perform in featured events and a few select competitions. The group is selected by private audition only, and must complete one full year of dance training prior to audition. For more information, call the studio at 303-841-7233.
